- In a skillet, cook sausage, beef, onion, garlic until browned.
- Stir in tomatoes, paste, sauce, water, sugar, basil, seasoning, salt, pepper, parsley. Simmer 30 min.
- Boil noodles 8-10 min. Drain and rinse.
- Mix ricotta, egg, rest of salt, parsley.
- In baking dish: spread 1.5 cups sauce, layer noodles, ricotta, mozzarella, meat sauce, repeat twice. Top with parmesan and mozzarella.
- Cover, bake 25 min at 375°F. Remove foil, bake 25 min more. Cool 15 min before serving.
