- In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in melted chocolate and vanilla.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
- Spread filling into cooled pie crust.
- Chill several hours or overnight.
- Top with whipped cream and chocolate curls before serving.
Notes
For best results, use pasteurized eggs. Serve chilled. The pie can be made a day ahead.
