Vanilla Sweet Cream

Vanilla Sweet Cream is a simple, homemade creamer that adds richness and sweetness to coffee and desserts. This recipe blends heavy cream, milk, and vanilla syrup into a luxuriously smooth topping.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  •  ½ cup water
  •  ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine ½ cup water and ½ cup granulated sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture simmers, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Let cool. Tip: For deeper flavor, split and scrape ½ vanilla bean into the syrup before heating.
  2. In a mixing bowl or jar, pour heavy cream, milk, and cooled vanilla syrup. Whisk gently until fully combined. Tip: Chill bowl and whisk in the freezer for 5 minutes beforehand to help the mixture thicken.
  3. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate. Use within 5–7 days for best texture. Shake or whisk briefly before serving. Tip: If cream separates, shake vigorously in the jar to re-emulsify.
